Welcome to the team, Sergii Pylypko.

Sergii has recently joined LiNa Energy as our new Chief Technology Officer, and we had a chance to catch up with him as he settles into the role.

🌟 What are you most looking forward to working on at LiNa Energy?
We are living in a new energy era, marked by rapid energy transition processes that demands a complete rethink of how energy is produced, transported, and stored and rechargeable batteries are at the heart of this transformation. 

My personal goal at LiNa Energy is to help bring the next generation of rechargeable batteries to the market – batteries that are cheaper, safer, and more reliable. Sodium batteries are the future of the industry, and at LiNa, we have all the necessary skills to become leaders in this field.

🌟 What attracted you to working at LiNa?
I was immediately drawn to LiNa’s innovative core technology and the unique approach to sodium battery design and its key components. After speaking with the team, I realised that behind this brilliant concept are extraordinary people who are deeply motivated to push this vision forward. It’s the combination of groundbreaking technology and the passionate, talented team that inspired me to join LiNa Energy and work together to bring this exciting concept to the market.

🌟 What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, hiking in nature and traveling. I also love playing football and other active games. When the weather isn’t great, you might find me in a cozy pub enjoying a few beers with good company.
