LiNa Energy Represents UK Cleantech for Thai Investment Delegation at UKBIC

Will Tope, LiNa Chief Commercial Officer, said: “The UK is driving battery innovation with supporting infrastructure from early stage via The Faraday Institution through to commercialization and scale-up via Innovate UK’s Faraday Challenge, the Advanced Propulsion Centre UK, and UKBIC – LiNa is proud to be part of such a great ecosystem!”

LiNa Energy was honored to represent UK innovation at the UK Battery Industrialisation Center (UKBIC), hosting an investment delegation from Thailand. LiNa was one of a select cohort of British companies solving global problems through new battery technology.

UKBIC was opened in July 2021. The national battery manufacturing development facility provides the missing link between battery technology, which has proved promising at laboratory or prototype scale, and successful mass production. Based in Coventry, UKBIC welcomes manufacturers, entrepreneurs, researchers and educators, and can be accessed by any organisation with existing or new battery technology.
